I am a mother. What are you?

I have watched and listened. I am disgusted to hear that a mother is having the blame of the injury of her child being laid publicly at her feet. There is only one person to blame for the Aurora tragedy... the shooter. Not the mother who kept her child with her. Not any of the other parents who took part in a family outing with their children. Not the makers of the movie. Not the parents of the shooter. Not the the theater owners nor the stores that sold the shooter the guns. Nor is the time of day to blame for we all have schedules. If this had occurred at a 2 o'clock matinee it would still be a tragedy.

The guns were his weapon of choice for carrying out his deranged plan of massacre. He is 24 and the only one responsible for his actions. Lets lay the blame solely at his feet and quit putting the victims and their families through a public trial.

I have heard of instances of unselfish acts to protect complete strangers when the carnage began.... so instead of taking away the glimmers of humanity that erupted during this tragedy, lets pray for all those touched by this. More importantly, the victims and their families need it, the community of Aurora needs it and the current state of our world needs it.
So stop braying and start praying.
